Hope you’re all enjoying Festival week so far. We’ve had drama, we’ve had cooking, we’ve had the arrival of St Declan – despite the best attempts of the tides and the weather, we’ve had a book launch and we’ve had a cracking song contest. Congratulations of course to Declan Carey, the winner of the song contest, who walked away a little earlier tonight with a trophy a recording session and €500. His song ‘The Sunny South East’ beat off stiff competition to take first prize.
And so on we go. Thursday sees the arrival in the village of a huge name in the Irish classical crossover field. The Celtic Tenors. They’ve sold over 1 million records. They’ve toured the world and now they’ve sold out Ardmore with what promises to be a great concert. We’re delighted to tell you that they’ll also be joined by the Ardmore Choir for a number of songs.
It’s going to be an amazing evening and we hope those of you who are lucky enough to have tickets really enjoy the performance. As the concert is fully booked no more tickets are now available.
