We’re delighted to welcome Neven Maguire to this year’s Pattern Festival. Tickets for his 8pm Cookery Demo on Tuesday 23rd July sold out within 24 hours. However there are still a few tickets left for his 4pm demo on the same day. The can be bought for just €15 each at the Ardmore Farmers’ Market every Sunday between 12 noon and 2pm.
Throughout his career Neven’s vision has been to share his love and passion for cooking with as many people as possible. And we’re delighted that he’s managed to take time out of his busy summer schedule in MacNean House, Co Cavan to come and visit us in Ardmore.
Neven has worked in some of the world’s best restaurants from the Roscoff in Belfast to the Grand Hotel in Berlin, both Michelin Star winners. He’s also cooked for notaries such as Lady Diana, Tony Blair and many more.
In 2001 he took over the running of the family business and began a journey that would turn a local restaurant into a national phenomenon. Located in the small village of Blacklion, Co Cavan, MacNean House has since become one of the most talked about and most frequented restaurants in the country.
And when Neven is not busy there, you might find him talking about and demonstrating his passion for great food on the TV and on the radio. In fact before coming to see the chef in person in July, why not tune into his new series of ‘Home Chef’ on Wednesday nights at 7.30pm on RTE 1?
