Kid’s Writing Workshop: Develop a Character – Sat 25th
Got a character locked inside your head? Famous Irish illustrator, Olivia Golden will show you techniques on how to breathe life into him/her/it and get it down on paper. Then the world is your oyster… Suitable for children aged 6 - 9 years. Spaces limited and admission is on first come first served basis; but don't worry we have lots of other activities at the school if this one is full.

Where do ideas for comics and cartoons come from? How do you get started? Olivia Golden, renowned Irish illustrator will guide you through the process of using words and pictures to write and draw your own comic strips. Suitable for children aged 9+ years. We read to our children all the time. This workshop with famous Irish illustrator Olivia Golden shows even the youngest book worms that they can make their own book and tell their own story. A fun storytelling session will be followed by a chance to get stuck in. Using simple templates, we explore their world as little individuals. Suitable for children aged 2 - 5 years. Tomi Reichental was born in in 1935 in Piestany, Slovakia. In 1944 he was captured and deported to Bergen Belsen concentration camp with his mother, grandmother, brother, aunt and cousin.
