Ardmore Pattern Festival is celebrating as Waterford Community Forum announces that the festival is shortlisted for the 2013 Community & Voluntary Awards in the Arts, Culture and Heritage category.
This will be a busy month for the festival committee as Ardmore Pattern Festival is also shortlisted in the Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber Awards that will be announced on Friday 8 th November in Lismore Castle.
Waterford Community Forum’s mission is “to promote inclusive community participation in the economic, social, and cultural development of County Waterford” which is intrinsic to the ethos of Ardmore Pattern Festival. Their annual awards recognise the contribution to the community by countywide groups.
In 2010 Ardmore Pattern Festival scooped a Community Forum award and the committee is hoping to repeat that success again this year. The winners of the Community & Voluntary Awards will be announced at an awards ceremony in the Park Hotel, Dungarvan on 28 th November.
